The New Hampshire training center is located on sixty acres of forest and field. Diverse terrain, from flat fields and rocky hillsides to woodland trails and streams, offer many challenges for both stock dog and handler. Cheviot, Katahdin, Barbados sheep and Boer goats are used for training. Cattle are brought in for spring, summer and fall training and ducks are frequently at hand. Good Stockmanship ensures all of our animals are treated with respect.
Cindi has instructed and worked with dogs, horses and livestock for more than thirty years. Many working farm dogs, trial dogs and handlers have begun and continue to enhance their education and partnerships as working teams at Contoocook Valley Farm.
